Hawaiian Cowboys are still thriving and have a very interesting history. Parker Ranch on the Big Island might be our most famous and largest of the cattle ranches in Hawaii. Located in one of my favorite locations, Waimea. I love love love Waimea and the acres of undeveloped land and the limited light pollution make it the perfect place to see the stars. I hope to visit Parker Ranch in the future but am happy to share the link to their website https://parkerranch.com They have recently aired some local commercials that capture the beauty of Waimea and the Parker Ranch. In MaiTaisAtSunset Episode #60 "Manifest Your Desires" Tai and I mention gorgeous Waimanalo and in other previous episodes we often reference the Waimanalo Polo Field. There are many agricultural properties in Waimanalo and some of my favorite plant nurseries and giant landscaping pottery businesses are located here. Of course Waimanalo Beach is super famous for its long stretch of white sand and aqua blue bay. One of my favorite beaches to photograph and of course swim. It is also one of the best locations to watch the sunrise.

Parades in Hawaii most often feature many riders on horseback, the most beautiful are always the Pa'u Riders. Pa'u is Hawaiian for skirt and the Pa'u Riders are all women. A historic organization that thrives today. This image is from the Star Advertiser Newspaper and I am happy to share it here for all of you. The other photograph features a couple riders from another horse riding organization on Oahu, I can't remember exactly but I think it was a horse therapy type program. Awesome!
